IREDonline Conference 2026 was titled Battery Energy Storage Plants in Power Systems – Markets, Technologies and Regulation. The conference focused on the evolving role of battery energy storage systems across all scales—from utility-scale installations to distributed resources such as commercial and residential systems and electric-vehicle-to-grid (V2G) applications. As battery deployment accelerates, optimizing their integration into power systems is becoming increasingly important to support reliability, flexibility, and decarbonization.
